On February 20th, 2016 Cyclone Winston struck the Fiji islands and left behind mass destruction and loss of lives.
Namena Island was directly hit and sustained major damage. We are grateful that our Fijian staff and their families are safe, however many have lost their homes. Our hearts go out to everyone affected by this catastrophic event.
Namena Island Resort will be closed for an unspecified period of time so that we can rebuild.
Communication in and around the Savusavu area is down and will take time to be restored.
